A Virtual Environment or a "venv" is a Python module that creates a unique environment for each task or project. It installs the packages we need that are unique to that setting while keeping your projects neatly organized. What is Logstash?

Logstash also cleans and modifies the data for use in an advanced outbound analytics and visualization use cases. It is the L in the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana) and is typically responsible for sending data to Elasticsearch.
